Amenida Seniors Community Celebrates Grand Opening of Its Newest Location in Pickering, Ontario
Thursday, April 3, 2025
Pickering, Ontario — April 3, 2025 — Amenida Seniors Community is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest residence in Pickering, marking an important milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion of high-quality, culturally inclusive senior living across Canada. Located at 1625 Pickering Parkway, this new community reflects Amenida’s long-term vision to bring compassionate, holistic senior care to more regions nationwide.
The celebration brought together residents, families, partners, and community leaders—including the Honourable Raymond Cho, Ontario’s Minister for Seniors and Accessibility. His attendance highlighted the shared commitment to strengthening senior care, supporting aging-in-place, and building communities where older adults can thrive.

Building a National Standard for Inclusive Senior Living
Amenida’s continued expansion is backed by Primacorp Ventures’ long-term investment strategy focused on senior wellness infrastructure. Rooted in the belief that aging well is a right, not a privilege, Primacorp’s approach emphasizes sustainable development, thoughtful acquisitions, and partnerships that strengthen senior care across the country.
With more than 15 years of experience since opening its first residence in Surrey, British Columbia, Amenida has earned a strong reputation for its compassionate care, multicultural approach, and person-centered service. Its communities are known for warm hospitality, diverse dining, multilingual support, and a strong sense of belonging for seniors from all backgrounds.
Holistic Communities Designed for Wellness and Dignity
The launch of Amenida Pickering represents the next phase of Amenida’s integrated model: holistic senior living environments that combine comfortable residential spaces with access to onsite health, wellness, and culturally aligned programs.
“Amenida is not just adding more residences—we are building complete, supportive communities,” said Najib Raie, Vice President of Primacorp Ventures. “Our focus is on dignity, comfort, and culturally respectful care that speaks to the whole person.”

A Vision to Reach Every Corner of Canada
At the forefront of this national vision is Dr. Peter Chung, Chairman of Primacorp Ventures and founder of Amenida Seniors Community.
“Our goal is to bring accessible, one-stop senior care to every major region in Canada,” said Dr. Chung. “By combining residential living with health, community, and cultural connection, we are creating a model of care that truly honors seniors and their diverse experiences.”
